Fairly Played in 2007
Gramercy and well met to all who came to see us at the Shrewsbury Faire this year!
A good time was had by all, despite heat and high wind, and we owe many thanks to Gareth and Yr Gwyliad for their great hospitality and companionship.
Kevin has been nicknamed ‘the Ripper’ in memory of a pair of Gareth’s breeches which need repair- the match was with rubber knives, so don’t worry, he wasn’t really trying to carve up his friends. We were also very pleased to share the stage again with Tobias the Adequate, whose debt we are in for helping us wrangle crowds for what he dubbed our shared ‘hour of bad judgement’.
I’m told we’re to blame for the sale of several wooden swords at the least, from Parents who seemed uncertain whether this was a compliment to our entertainment or a prelude to an eternal enmity. Only time and the injuries of siblings will tell.
A new folder is being added to our gallery for our 2007 appearance there, and anyone with their own personal pictures is asked to please share them with us!
Thanks again to all.
